I was born in March 1st 1973, in Los Angeles California. At the age of five my family moved to Uruapan, Michoacan, MEXICO, where we lived until I was fifteen, when I was fifteen we moved back to the U.S. where I have lived until the present day.
My Art experience started when I was 11 years old, and I showed some talent when it came to drawing, I was enrolled on the historic Art School: MAPECO (Manuel Perez Coronado) in Uruapan, where I took the basic courses of life drawing.
When I started Junior High, I took the Graphic Design and Art Courses, which taught me the basics of Design, Perspective Drawing, and Layout. It was there I discovered Art would always be part of my life.
Once back in the U.S. I still took Art classes in High School, learning how to work with colored pencils, as well as Acrylics, and started participating in School Contests.
At the age of 19, I discovered a cool new tool: "The Airbrush", and from the time I started using it, I started trying to develop my own style and technique to stand out from the crowd. Even though I had a hard time with the Airbrush, I kept trying, messing up with the wrong paints, and not having anyone to guide me other than the magazine: "Airbrush Action" where I would learn new tips and techniques; I pretty much taught myself, learning from my mistakes.
First I started Airbrushing simple designs on T-shirts at a Swapmeet in South Central L.A., I did this for a couple of years but I wanted a bigger challenge, so I started Airbrushing Murals on Lowriders. This is where I started to see what I was really capable of, when it came to the detail on my work.
